Incase anyone still might have these files on their system after removing Norton. One last thing I haven't seen anyone else mention it while I've been seeking help to deal with this, Norton also leaves behind a few files named Symantec which seems to be an old name for NortonLifeLock. Should I not delete all of them? Or am I completely wrong and I'll just continue deleting the ones with "norton" in them? All of the keys in the screen shot look like they might be directly related. Some of the keys around the "norton" keys seem like they might be there as a companion to it, like the "GUID" key in the screenshot. The one in the screenshot, along with the two other keys within the folder and several more within the following similar folders are giving me an error stating: "Unable to delete all specified values." Does anyone know a way around this?Īlso, this is my first time using this app, I don't fully know how it works. I've been going through the registry removing a bunch of these keys, anything with the Norton name on it.
